I’m extremely excited for the future of the game and I believe we have the potential to have a competitive community. Shards of War has plenty of unique features and the developers here are very much on point with their ongoing plans. Why do you believe in its success and what are your plans regarding esports? I’m very excited to be back doing what I love, now from a business perspective.
There is plenty more to the gig that comes spontaneously and that’s what’s to be expected in esports.

Whether it’s an in-game suggestion or helping them prepare a sales pitch to a new sponsor/organization.īesides that I’m also responsible for all upcoming esports projects, whether that’s planning for our next tournament or arranging the Go4 series with our partner ESL. I am responsible for the direct communication between Bigpoint and the players. My daily tasks range from routine Bigpoint meetings to assisting our competitive players with any issues they have. What are your daily tasks and your future goals at Bigpoint? I then saw the Associate Esports Manager role available via eSports Career and simply applied! After several interviews I was offered the role just before this year’s Gamescom. A city I have grown very fond of and made plenty of friends.
How did you get the job?Īfter a year at my previous company, I was ready to venture back into esports but at the same time, wanted to stay put in Hamburg. You are Associate Esports Manager at Bigpoint. I’ve now lived in Hamburg for just over a year with my girlfriend and couldn’t be happier out here! Throughout the past 6 or 7 years I’ve been hugely passionate for esports and the community which has helped get me to where I am. So I come from Stansted, England and I’m 23 years old.
